AIT Extension offers a Thailand-based platform for German TVET cooperation in Asia-Pacific

Planned project

AIT Extension, the continuing professional education and capacity development arm of the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, offers its institutional platform, regional network and local knowledge to support German TVET providers interested in exploring cooperation in Thailand and the wider Asia-Pacific. Potential areas include quality assurance, work-based learning, training centre development, preventive maintenance, green and digital skills, AI in TVET, and workforce development. AIT Extension can facilitate local engagement, institutional connections, contextualisation and the development of future joint initiatives.

About the company

AIT Extension is the continuing professional education and capacity development arm of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), based in Thailand and serving partners across Asia-Pacific. It works with governments, development partners, education and training institutions, industry and international organisations on professional learning, institutional development and applied capacity building. AIT Extension is also the UNITAR-affiliated CIFAL centre in Thailand and is expanding its work in TVET and workforce development.

Requirements for the training provider

We welcome interest from German TVET providers, training institutions, chambers, industry-linked organisations and other relevant partners that are open to exploring cooperation in Thailand and Asia-Pacific.

We are particularly interested in organisations with expertise in quality assurance, work-based learning, training centre development, preventive maintenance, green and digital skills, AI in TVET and workforce development.

At this stage, the objective is exploratory dialogue and partnership development, without any immediate commercial or project commitment.
