India–Germany Skilled Workforce Demand & Employer Linkages

NSDC seeks German partners to establish a structured mechanism for identifying and aggregating skilled workforce requirements across German Länder, sectors, occupations and employers.

The initiative will map current and emerging demand, qualification and language requirements, employer expectations and mobility pathways, converting validated demand into India-ready talent pipelines.

The intelligence will guide targeted skilling, upskilling/reskilling, German-language preparation and employer matching, enabling German employers to access a predictable pipeline of qualified Indian skilled workers. 

Indicative pilot timeline: 6–9 months.

About the company

India’s principal organisation supporting the Skill India Mission and operates as a Public-Private Partnership under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

NSDC strengthens India’s skilling ecosystem through industry partnerships, quality standards, training, assessment and capacity building.

NSDC International (NSDCI), focuses on international workforce mobility, global partnerships and development of skilled talent aligned with international requirements.

NSDC and NSDCI facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity building and ethical pathways for skilled Indian talent to access global opportunities, including in Germany.

Requirements for the training provider

NSDC seeks Skilled workforce demand German chambers, employers, industry associations, public employment/training agencies and sectoral organisations with strong regional labour-market and employer networks.

Partners must have experience in international recruitment, qualification recognition and labour-market analysis is desirable. Partners should support periodic demand forecasting and convert aggregated demand into verified employer opportunities and mobility pathways.

Indicative timeline: 8 – 9 months for placing Indians to German Companies.
