India–Germany Logistics TVET Excellence Partnership: Standards, Future Skills & Industry-Integrated Training

Planned project

Seeking training and industry partners in Germany to develop a structured international training, apprenticeship, internship, on-the-job training and workforce mobility opportunities for Indian candidates in the following segments:

1. Warehouse Operations
2. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) – Forklift & BOPT
3. Commercial Vehicle Drivers
4. EXIM (Export–Import): Training and practical exposure in export-import operations, documentation, customs processes, freight coordination, shipment handling and international logistics procedures.
5. Joint Certification & Employment Pathways

About the company

LSC is an Indian Section 8 company working with MSDE and NSDC to strengthen India’s logistics workforce through education, skills, industry engagement and workforce development. Its initiatives include AEDP, higher education, NIOS pathways, industry-paid programmes, apprenticeships under NAPS and Centres of Excellence in warehousing, transport, supply chain, MHE, EXIM and logistics technology. LSC develops QPs/occupational standards and uses LLMS, AR/VR, simulations and online certification. With global engagements, LSC seeks German/EU partners for knowledge exchange, apprenticeships, internships, OJT, joint certification, exposure and workforce mobility, creating globally competent talent.

Requirements for the training provider

We seek German TVET institutions, chambers, logistics companies and specialised training providers with expertise in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, transport, MHE, digitalisation and sustainable logistics.

Partners should have strong capabilities in occupational/curriculum benchmarking, competency-based training and assessment, industry-integrated learning and technology-enabled training.

Access to logistics facilities, technology labs and industry experts is preferred.

Partners should support joint curriculum development, expert exchange, Master Trainer development and pilot implementation in India.
