About the company
ESSCI is the standards authority and apex assessments & Certification Council of India for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry. Responsible for developing industry-aligned skill standards, training, assessment, certification, and workforce development to build a future-ready electronics talent ecosystem for domestic and international job markets.
Promoted by Six Associations - CEAMA, ELCINA, IESA, IPCA MAIT, ELCOMA, and supported by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). ESSCI has been recognized by NCVET as an awarding body for ESDM sector.
The focus is on establishing a robust ecosystem for developing and imparting outcome-oriented skills Industry.
Requirements for the training provider
ESSCI seeks German TVET institutions, Universities of Applied Sciences, applied research organisations, specialised training providers and industry partners with expertise in electronics, semiconductors, automation, robotics, AI, power electronics, digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
Partners should support occupational/curriculum benchmarking, ToT/ToA, competency-based assessment, practical training, technology demonstrations, laboratory/workshop modernisation and joint programme development.
Strong industry linkages and access to advanced technology labs are preferred. A phased pilot with defined outcomes is proposed.
