India–Germany Automotive TVET Excellence Partnership: Global Standards, Future Skills, Industry Immersion & Trainer Development

Planned project

ASDC proposes an India–Germany Automotive TVET Excellence Partnership with leading German TVET institutions, universities and industry to strengthen India’s automotive skills ecosystem. The partnership will:

benchmark ASDC QPs, curricula and assessments against German occupational and industry standards
build Master Trainer, Assessor and Faculty capabilities through ToT, ToA, expert workshops and industry exposure
develop future-ready skills in EV/high-voltage, mechatronics, automotive electronics, diagnostics, automation, digital and green technologies; and
strengthen industry-integrated learning through workplace training, live projects, immersion and international exposure.

The model will be piloted, validated and scaled from November 2026.

About the company

ASDC, a recognized body of the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), is a premier organization supported by key automotive industry stakeholders such as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), and the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India (FADA).

With significant backing from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI), the Ministry of Road Transport & Highway (MoRTH), and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), ASDC is affiliated Awarding Body by central regulator, National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET). ASDC plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the automotive sector in India.
