Indian design school seeks German VET partners to train and certify students in product, interior/architecture, fashion and communication design
Kooperationsgesuch | Dot School of Design
Planned project
The DOT School of Design is inviting German vocational training centres to sign memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for short-term student exchange and certification programmes. We would like to send groups of our design students to Germany for between one week and three months to receive hands-on training and a recognised certification from the German partner.
The collaboration can include studio workshops, industry visits, faculty exchanges and joint certification. Our aim is to establish a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership that gives our students global exposure and strengthens Indo-German ties in design education.
About the company
The DOT School of Design is an Indian institution dedicated to nurturing creative talent across product design, interior/architecture design, fashion design and communication design. We combine a strong studio-based, industry-driven pedagogy with a focus on innovation, craft and real-world problem solving.
Our mission is to prepare students for global design careers by exposing them to international standards, methods and cultures. We actively build partnerships with renowned institutions abroad to offer our students immersive learning experiences, cross-cultural collaboration and recognised certifications that enhance their professional profiles.
Requirements for the training provider
We seek accredited German vocational training centres offering programmes in one or more of these domains:
- Product design
- Interior/architecture design
- Fashion design
- Communication design
The partner should deliver structured short-term modules (one week to three months) with hands-on, studio- and industry-based learning, and award a recognised certificate on completion.
The capacity to host visiting student groups, provide qualified trainers, and support with practical arrangements such as facilities, scheduling, and guidance on accommodation and logistics is preferred. Openness to a formal MoU and ongoing collaboration, including possible faculty exchange, is essential.
