Aligned Bridging Courses for Skill Development Trainees and Fresh Engineering Graduates for German Apprenticeship Opportunities

Planned project

The project aims to develop and implement industry-aligned bridging courses to prepare skill development trainees and fresh engineering graduates for apprenticeship opportunities in German industries. 

In collaboration with German TVET partners, the program will design curricula focused on technical skills, workplace readiness, and German language proficiency. It will include pre-assessment, customized training modules, and certification aligned with German standards. The initiative will also facilitate candidate screening, interview preparation, and placement support to ensure successful integration into the German apprenticeship system.

About the company

Venture Skillindia Private Limited, established in 2013 and an NSDC-funded partner since 2015, is based in Ranchi, Jharkhand. 

We deliver advanced engineering training (AutoCAD, PLC, CATIA), training 1,000+ engineers annually. With 30+ centers, we implement large-scale skill development projects under JSDM, UPSDM, BSDM, NSDC, NTPC, CCL, and other government and corporate initiatives. 

We provide vocational education in 466 schools with JEPC and have set up 161 labs. We also manage three Government Polytechnic Institutes in Uttar Pradesh and are developing a 5-acre Institutional Park in Ranchi.

Requirements for the training provider

The German TVET partner will play a key role in designing, implementing, and standardizing training programs aligned with the German dual system.

1.    Curriculum Development

• Develop industry-aligned curricula for apprenticeship programs based on German dual system principles.
• Ensure curricula are aligned with current German industry standards and occupational requirements.

2.     Bridging Course Design

• Design bridging courses for Skill Development trainees and fresh engineering graduates in the following sectors:
  - Automobile
  - Construction
  - Information Technology (IT)
  - Electronics
• Integrate technical training with:
  - German Language Training (A1 to B2 levels)
  - Workplace readiness and intercultural skills

3.     Training Delivery Support

• Provide access to certified and experienced trainers.
• Support implementation through Training of Trainers (ToT) programs to build local trainer capacity.

4.    Assessment & Certification

• Develop and implement standardized assessment frameworks.
• Support joint certification aligned with German TVET standards.

5.     Digital Learning & Content Development

• Develop digital learning modules, including e-learning content, simulations, and blended learning solutions.
  
• Ensure accessibility and scalability of training programs through digital platforms.
  

6.     Industry Linkages & Apprenticeship Pathways

• Facilitate partnerships with German industries and employers.
  
• Support creation of apprenticeship and placement pathways for successful candidates in Germany.
