Strategic Partnership with URUDO-UGANDA in education and vocational skills

Planned project

We are writing to express our keen interest in exploring partnerships for our mission in advancing education, gender equity, and vocational skills training for marginalized populations particularly out-of-school youth and the girl child.

These interventions aim to bridge the skills gap between out-of-school youth and their peers in the formal education system. While our impact on the ground is notable, limited access to substantial donor support has constrained the scale and reach of our programs.

About the company

URUDO-UGANDA is a community-based organization involved in educating the girl child, empowerment of out of school youth with vocational skills in areas of carpentry, joinery, welding and metal fabrication, tailoring and fashion design. Computer practice and application, salon practice and hair dressing as well as environment conservation activities through tree planting.

Requirements for the training provider

The training providers should have experts in the mentioned vocations to pass on to the trainer of trainees. The training providers should be able to mobilise tools and equipment to boost our training workshop as well as mobilise the would-be funders to support our vocational skills development project.
