König Abdullah appelliert an die Privatwirtschaft, Arbeitsmöglichkeiten für junge Saudis zu schaffen

König Abdullah, Wächter der zwei Heiligen Moscheen, begrüßt die Beteiligung der Privatwirtschaft an der Entwicklung des Königreichs Saudi Arabien. Gleichzeitig mahnt er den privaten Sektor, mehr Arbeitsmöglichkeiten für junge Saudis zu schaffen.


Create jobs for Saudi youth, King tells private sector

King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has applauded private sector’s participation in the development of the Kingdom. The Monarch also urged the private sector to create more job opportunities for the Saudi youth.

Addressing a delegation of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry here Tuesday night, King Abdullah said that it was important for industrial cities and their plants preserve the surrounding environment, Al-Watan reported.

After the meeting, Saleh Al-Turki, JCCI Chairman, said the King expressed great keenness to achieve food security and stability for citizens through subsidization. “He also encouraged youths to own private businesses through small establishments,” Al-Turki said.

Al-Turki thanked the King for supporting the private sector.
Dr. Abdullah Bin Mahfouz, member of the JCCI Board, said the meeting was an opportunity to express gratitude to King Abdullah for his support for judicial reforms.

Bin Mahfouz added that King Abdullah stressed the importance of meaningful and constructive dialogue which leads to the right path and helps achieve the desired goals.

He said the Monarch was keen on creating a mechanism to promote food security jointly with the private sector through subsidization program.

Olfat Qabbani, member of the Chamber’s board and businesswoman, said King Abdullah follows up on all economic and social issues and is consistently keen on making all patronage and welfare means available in order to enhance the standard of living of Saudi citizens.

She added that King Abdullah has urged an expanded participation of the private sector to achieve sustainable development.

Madawi Al-Hassoun, businesswoman and JCCI board member, said King Abdullah’s meeting with businesswomen reflects keenness on the part of the leadership on supporting women and on following up on their achievements.
