The STEINBEIS SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (SIBE) is the graduate school for leadership and management at Steinbeis University, led by Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Werner G. Faix and Prof. Dr. Stefanie Kisgen. SIBE is dedicated to knowledge transfer and systematic competency development between academia and industry, focusing on organizations and high-potential individuals who think and act entrepreneurially and globally.
SIBE offers graduate programs in Germany and in cooperation with renowned universities worldwide, including partners in Brazil, the U.S., China, India, and the U.K. Transfer-oriented teaching and research are at the core of its activities.
Beyond academic programs, SIBE supports companies in recruiting, selecting, developing, and retaining talent. Students receive individualized support and, within dual study programs, are connected with companies and organizations. SIBE also provides scientifically grounded approaches to competency development and assessment.
Its research covers areas such as competency management, internationalization, strategic and innovation management, supply chain management, human resources, and leadership education.
Through innovation projects and the development of high-potential talent, SIBE supports its partner organizations in driving innovation, growth, and internationalization while developing current and future leaders.
With master’s programs offered since 1994, more than 300 current students, over 5,000 graduates, and more than 350 partner companies, SIBE combines academic excellence, practical transfer, and a strong international network.
