Vietnam: Zusammenarbeit mit Privatsektor in Berufsbildung ist unverzichtbar

"Cooperating with private sector in TVET currently is an indispensable trend"

With a view to improving the quality and market-orientation of technical and vocational education and training, the Programme "Reform of TVET in Viet Nam" organized the Business Cooperation Training for 18 relevant staff from Bac Ninh College of Industry, Ha Tinh Vietnamese Germany Technical College, Nha Trang College of Technology, Ninh Thuan Vocational College, LiLaMa 2, Ho Chi Minh City College of Technology II, Long An College and An Giang Vocational College at Long An College during 28.-30.10.2020.

Mr. Claas-Uwe Himmel, the Programme's Development Advisor and Mr. Vo Phuoc Tai, Ho Chi Minh City College of Technology II's business cooperation officer co-hosted the training.

During the training, all the participants were guided through a learning journey focusing on: perspectives and interests of stakeholders in technical and vocational education and training (TVET); consequences for contents in and methodical approaches for communication with enterprise representatives; tools for selecting economic sectors, organizations and partners within selected organizations and deepening the learning in role plays and reflection phases.

Opening the training, Mr. Le Quoc Hung – Rector of Long An College emphasized "Cooperating with private sector in TVET currently is an indispensable trend. It plays a vital role in ensuring the highly skilled workforce in line with the market demand for the country’s future sustainable eco-socio development."

After the training, all the participants highly appreciated the knowledge, skills, and lessons learnt in cooperating with private sector in TVET shared by the trainers and other participants.
