Open call for Continuing Professional Development projects in SEET region
The continued professional development (CPD) of teachers and trainers is
a key strategy for improving the performance of vocational education and
training systems.
As part of its ongoing work in this important area,
the ETF is seeking demonstration projects to help inform policy development and
implementation in South Eastern Europe and Turkey (SEET) in 2017.
These
ETF partner countries include: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav
Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey.
Demonstration projects
Increasingly VET teachers and trainers need to make use of new pedagogies and
technologies, teach new competences and collaborate with colleagues and
employers. CPD such as mentoring, induction, digital learning, observation and
feedback help teachers and trainers meet these demands.
The ETF is
looking for demonstration projects that relate to design, delivery, evaluation
and dissemination of CPD for teachers and trainers working in VET. In 2015-2016,
the ETF supported the implementation of seven demonstration projects across the
SEET region. Details, including modules, the materials and ongoing reporting,
are available on the linked website.
Who can take part?
VET schools, national, regional or local public agencies, higher education institutions, independent training providers, companies, professional associations and NGOs can apply. Organisations are encouraged to consider partnerships that bring together complementary skills and perspectives (e.g. those of providers and users of CPD) and encourage wider adoption.
Deadline
Expressions of interest should be submitted immediately to CPDproposals@etf.europa.eu. Proposals should be submitted to the same address by 30 September 2016. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss your proposal further with one of our experts, please contact us via the same email.
