Die türkische Regierung bereitet die Einführung eines neuen Beschäftigungsprogrammes vor. Dabei will die Regierung Arbeitsplätze für Frauen, junge Menschen mit beruflicher Ausbildung und Langzeit-Arbeitslose bereit stellen.

Turkey to launch new employment program

The government is gearing up up for a four-point employment program that consists of a severance pay fund, discounts in social security premiums, compulsory employment and a fight against unemployment.

The government will provide jobs for women, young people with vocational-school training and long-time unemployed. Finance Minister Kemal Unakıtan signaled that there would be tax cuts on the employment tax. The government will encourage all unemployed people to benefit from vocational education and the reallocation of unemployment insurance. To this end, a new national employment and human resources strategy will be implemented. Two percentage points of social security premiums that are collected from the employers and 1 percentage point of contributions of employers to the unemployment fund will be transferred to the severance pay fund.
