Neuer Rat zur Koordination des Bildungsbereich in den Vereinigten Emiraten gegründet

Seine Hoheit Scheich Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vizepräsident und Premierminister der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate und Herrscher von Dubai, hat einen Beschluss zur Gründung eines "Staatlichen Rates zur Bildungskoordination und Integration" (Federal Council for Educational Coordination and Integration) bekanntgegeben.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a resolution setting up a Federal Council for Educational Coordination and Integration.

According to the resolution, Minister of Education Dr Hanif Hassan will chair the new body with director-general of the Ministry of Education as its secretary-general.

Members of the Council include directors of local education councils and two representatives from the private education sector.

Dr Hassan termed the council as one of the national pilot ambitious projects aimed at upgrading the learning process.

The council will work to implement joint programmes between the ministry and other educational bodies seeking to improve educational output and develop human resources, he said.

The formation of the Council was inspired by the vision of the wise leadership to reflect the federal government’s proper care for education, he added.

He said the federal government strategy aimed at making a qualitative leap in education at par with prominent international standards.

The Council he explained, would coordinate better implementation of educational policies to make them cater for aspirations of development plans and local community.

The Council will offer advice on bills, policies and activities related to education and recommend required as per socio-economic developments and encourage building partnerships with the private sector to allow it contribute to socio-economic and educational development, he indicated.

The Council will also work to standardise database and statistics on local and federal levels to ensure smooth flow of information for planners, executives and decision-makers.
