Nigeria is in the middle of a green economic transition. Preparing the vocational education and training (VET) system to meet this demand, experts from the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) trained the first cohort of Green Skills Trainers in Lagos as part of the GIZ Skills and Youth Employment (SKYE) project in Nigeria.

Germany and Uzbekistan intend to further expand their cooperation in VET. With the signing of a Joint Declaration of Intent (JDoI) in Berlin on June 11, the Uzbek Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation (MHESI) and the German Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) have established a common framework for future collaboration.

As Kenya and Germany mark 63 years of diplomatic relations, renewed attention is being directed toward expanding opportunities for Kenyan professionals seeking employment, education, and training abroad.
