Uzbekistan Discusses Joint Initiatives on German Language Teaching and VET

On 7 November 2025, Kongirotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan, met with Anna Bernsmeier, Director of the Goethe-Institut, and Tanja Olbrich, Head of the Eastern and Central Asia Department. The meeting focused on teaching the German language in Uzbekistan, improving teacher qualifications, providing educational institutions with textbooks and technical resources, and VET.

At the end of October 2025, Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions from around 15 countries met in Rio de Janeiro for the Alliance for dual VET in Latin America and the Caribbean conference. The conference provided a platform for voices from practice, employers, and science.
