Key competencies

Qualify present and future managers of online, distance education, and e-learning

    Corporate Profile

The Center for Lifelong Learning (C3L) is a full academic unit of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. The Center's interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary orientation is focused on questions of continuing education and lifelong learning, developing research-based and professionally relevant education programs.

The fully online, international Online Teaching and Learning Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) has been designed specifically for working adults. Our students complete their certificate and extend their professional skills and competencies in realising online and blended learning solutions without interrupting their careers. When electing for the Online Teaching and Learning CAS, you will be enrolled as a guest student. The CAS is comprised of four course modules, which means that you can complete a certificate within two semesters. CAS availability will be published in the semester handbook of course modules.  There are no admission requirements for applying to the programme.

Within the certificate programme, you will complete four courses.:

    - mtl100 Principles, Theory, and Practice of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL)

    - mtl110 Learner Support in Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL)

    - mtl115 Design of TEL Environments

    - mtl125 International and Transnational Education Issues in TEL
