Corporate Profile
The Internationaler Bund (IB) is with its non-profit organisation one of the large service providers in the fields of youth and social work, education and labour market services in Germany. President of the IB is the former member of Bundestag Petra Merkel. The honorary committee comprises of representatives of public life, the social partners, political parties as well as from industry, academia and government.
More than 14,000 people work for the IB in 700 facilities and branches in 300 locations, helping 350.000 children, young people, adults and senior citizens every year with their career and personal planning offering a wide range of services. The IB-Group is politically non-aligned and non-denominational. Helping people to develop in freedom, to shape their own lives, to integrate into society, to take on personal responsibility, to actively help shaping the development of society, to encourage the willingness for social support to the individual and the society, to promote international understanding and cooperation are fixed components since its foundation in 1949.
These principles have remained valid to the association. Caring, educating and building bridges are the IB guiding principles while organizing help for the society. Whenever people are in need or social support is requested, whenever state of the art training, further education and vocational qualification is demanded, and whenever competent design and management of social development, education and labour market services are required: The IB supports you!
