100,000 Euros for practice-oriented vocational training

The Vocational Training Center (BBZ) / Education Center Fulda has received a brand-new AUDI Q7 worth 100,000 euros for training purposes. In addition to this vehicle equipped to the highest standards of technology, the centre was provided with the necessary measuring instruments.

"We support the practice-oriented vocational training for automotive mechatronics fitters and master car mechanics at the BBZ Fulda", said Philipp Atzert, authorised representative and Head of Service at the Fulda car dealership of atzert:weber. He continued to say that with the Audi Q7, the teachers and students at the BBZ now had the additional advantage of a "technically extremely sophisticated vehicle", which covered all fields of automotive technology.

Medium- and large-sized vehicles feature up to 100 electronic control devices. "We need the latest technology in order to teach our course participants in a contemporary, up-to-date manner. Especially when dealing with the fields of infotainment and multimedia within a vehicle, it is indispensable to demonstrate this also in a practical manner on the example of an actual vehicle", explained Alexander Kress, Head of Department Automotive Technology at the BBZ Fulda. He added that the Q7 was equipped in a manner not leaving anything to be desired with respect to the topics of the curriculum.
