Enthusiastic about learning kitchen

With the words "Da jia hao! Wo hen gao xing", Ulrich Scheckenbach, certified teacher of commercial studies at the Georg Kerschensteiner School, now welcomed a delegation of fourteen Chinese teachers from vocational training schools in the People's Republic of China.

During a four-day sojourn the group from this major Asian country gathered information regarding the structures and processes of the local dual vocational training system. In doing so, they visited vocational training schools and enterprises in the district and city of Offenbach. The furnishings of the Georg Kerschensteiner School's learning kitchen for the occupational area of "Nutrition and Gastronomy" in particular were met with great enthusiasm on part of the members of the delegation.
