Kneipp health is an export success

There is a high level of interest from South Korea in German cultural heritage

The Sebastian Kneipp Academy for Health Education welcomed a delegation from South Korea in the Kneipp Centre. Sebastian Kneipp natural therapies enjoy an excellent reputation in South Korea - particularly in terms of health promotion for children.

Together with the Sebastian Kneipp Academy, the group from South Korea - consisting of the director and manager of the city of Jinan's tourism authority, the head of a rehabilitation organisation, a sports scientist and the chair of a charitable organisation with an environmental focus - are planning to implement a pilot project to improve child health in South Korea.

In an initial step, skilled workers from South Korea will receive training as key players in the area of 'Kneipp health for children' in Bad Wörishofen in December of this year.

Due to the high population density in South Korea and the associated relatively high susceptibility to infection and risk of infection during childhood, specific efforts are being made to implement the Kneipp health concept in South Korea over the long term.
