In an informal setting in february 2024, more than 80 representatives of National Commissions for UNESCO from around the world shared their experiences in implementing the Recommendation at national level.

Bayelsa State Government has indicated its readiness to partner with Gregory University, Uturu in Abia State on a vocational training programme to create a critical mass of middle-class and higher manpower to drive the local economy.
