Nigeria's government expands digital skills training and vocational education

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced plans to empower at least 7 million youths with dual vocational training and digital skills development programmes. Youth Development Minister Ayodele Olawande announced this in novembre 2025 when he hosted a delegation of the IHK Giessen-Friedberg Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Germany.

The booming tourism sector on Kenya's coast is facing a growing demand for qualified specialists in technical fields. Around Skills gap to close this gap, the Tui Academy of the German tour operator Tui, in cooperation with the Severin Craftsman Training Center in Mombasa, has launched a three-year training program.
