Nine companies were presented with the "Training Ace" award in December.
The Junior Chamber International in Germany and the Junior Skilled Craftsmen present the award in the categories of "craft trades", "industry, commerce, services" and "training initiatives" in order to recognise particular commitment shown in preparing young people for professional life. The award comes with prize money of €16,000. A total of 143 companies and initiatives applied. The award's patron in 2018 was Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Peter Altmaier.
