Study: Internet increasingly established as educational medium

The internet has firmly established itself as a means of education both in the professional and private field of life. This is the result of a representative survey commissioned by Bitkom, in which 1,000 people of 14 years or more from the whole of Germany have participated.

According to the survey, almost two thirds (63 per cent) of internet users stated that they were able to improve their general education with the help of the internet. More than half of the persons questioned (54 per cent) have already used online offers for their professional continuing education.
