Job market: Project for young people with disabilities shows first success

In March, seven young mentally challenged people successfully completed a "cooperative vocational education and preparation for the general job market" (KoBV) as a vocational training measure in Rastatt, State of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Six of them have received a regular employment contract by their training companies.

The KoBV is an offer for mentally challenged and educationally handicapped young people. During the vocational preparation, they learn work relevant skills as well as social competencies for the general job market in order to be able to participate in self-determined work life.
