Good prospects for apprentices at the start of the new year of training

Companies of all industries are urgently looking for new apprentices. According to a recent company survey conducted by the Cologne Institute for Economic Research, more than 25 per cent of the companies in which apprentices are trained are planning to offer more training positions than in the previous year.

Dr. Philipp Roesler, German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology says, "Each motivated young person who leaves school this year has a good chance to find a training position. In order for young people to find an occupation which fits their qualifications and needs, they need a sufficient number of high-quality trainings."
