Award for exemplary education and talent management

In the context of the German Education Prize 2014, the TÜV SÜD Akademie and EuPD Research Sustainable Management have awarded the initiative's quality seal to 15 businesses of excellence. The German Education Prize thus honours those participants who have in place an excellent education and talent management system.

The German Education Prize 2014 not only awards the winners in six categories, but also the businesses that have successfully completed the education and talent management audit. This makes these businesses the ones with the best education and talent management systems in Germany. The seal award ceremony was moderated by Dr Astrid Nelke from the Deutscher Mittelstands-Bund (DMB – German Association for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises).

During the one-day audit, independent experts from EuPD Research Sustainable Management and the TÜV SÜD Akademie assess the businesses' education and talent management systems by way of a structured dialogue and by reference to exactly defined quality criteria. The basis is the quality model of the German Education Price that has been put to the practical test already in more than 250 businesses.

The TÜV SÜD Akademie and EuPD Research Sustainable Management created the German Education Prize in 2012 to establish scientifically proven and practice-oriented quality standards for education and talent management and to distinguish the best concepts in Germany. As in previous years, the initiative receives support from various partners. They help in the incorporation of in-company education and talent management as a strategic business goal in Germany.

The German Education Prize's media partner are the Haufe Group and the eLearning Journal. Premium partners are Wall Street English, bsct academy GmbH and Materne Training. Other partners include the e-learning provider impatto and the human resource service provider Hays.
