iMOVE office in China at the Education+

The iMOVE Office in China presented the initiative in the German Pavilion. Wilhelm Dittrich, head of "Recruitment, Training & Vocational Training" at the Shanghai Chamber of Foreign Trade (AHK) and Zhang Ye, project manager for vocational education and training at the AHK Shanghai and representative of the iMOVE office in China, provided information about the activities and services of iMOVE and promoted "Training - Made in Germany".

Using iMOVE to find German partners for Chinese vocational education and training

Huge interest was shown in iMOVE and in "Training - Made in Germany". Many heads and teachers at vocational schools as well as representatives of education and training institutions and companies visited the iMOVE stand for advice.

They found out about the German training system and about successful examples of German-Chinese collaboration. Zhang also explained how to use the iMOVE platform in the correct way to search for an appropriate German partner.

In the future, Chinese visitors hope that they will be able to access German expertise in initial and continuing vocational education and training with the support of iMOVE in order to encourage the development of Chinese vocational education and training.

iMOVE at the Forum for International Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training

Zhang Ye introduced iMOVE and the iMOVE office in China at the "Forum on China Vocational Education International Cooperation and Production Education Integration” organised by the Chinese Society of Vocational and Technical Education (CSVTE).

iMOVE is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and is part of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). Its aim is the internationalisation of German initial and continuing vocational education and training services.

The iMOVE office in China is based in the Shanghai Chamber of Foreign Trade (AHK). Both partners work together closely and identify the appropriate German partners for interested parties in China for projects in the area of vocational education and training.

iMOVE is a neutral international platform of the German Federal Government for the initiation of collaboration in initial and continuing vocational education and attracted huge interest among visitors to the trade fair. Many guests visited the iMOVE stand following the presentation and continued discussions relating to the activities and services of the iMOVE office in China.
