The Renewables Academy AG (RENAC), based in Berlin, Germany, is one of the leading international providers of education and training in the fields of renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE). Since our founding in January 2008, over 21,000 participants from over 160 countries worldwide have benefited from our expertise in the technology, financing, management and market development of RE and EE.
Our workshops and courses cover the whole value chain of renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures. We cover topics and skills needed from financing, managing, engineering, assessing, implementing, designing and maintaining renewable energy systems and energy efficiency measures. We provide our clients with an understanding of the issues and challenges, as well as the skills to implement renewable energy projects on and off the electricity grid.
Furthermore, RENAC trainings are tailored to our customer’s needs. We believe that training and knowledge transfer has to be directly catered to the specific country and organizational framework conditions. Thus, the analysis of training needs is a standard element of our work.
Our goal is to equip our course participants for the challenges of real projects through an intense and absorbing training experience. Therefore all our courses are designed so that the material can be readily put into practice. RENAC provides instruction on those topics that are decisive for the market growth and for the broader use of renewable energies and energy efficiency measures, such as financing, legal aspects, contracts and monitoring.
Our specialties are:
- Facilitating the establishment and development of green energy infrastructures and markets (RE and EE) internationally
- Design and conduction of online and face-to-face trainings in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian
- Sustainable approach with capacity needs assessment, practice oriented trainings and evaluation of all trainings
