30 trainees complete MAN vocational education and training

All of them start with a permanent contract for the future.

The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) final examination represents a special milestone in the life of every young person. Imagine the delight therefore, if you pass the examination and hold the much sought-after certificate of proficiency in your hand. A press release explains how 30 former trainees on the MAN vocational education and training course have made this important step on their way to leading an independent life. For all of the graduates, the hard work and efforts made over the previous years of training were all worth it as they now have a permanent contract in the bag.

Everyone was delighted and proud of successfully completing the vocational education and training, yet a sense of melancholy was also present at the farewell ceremony in Nordsteimke. Here, the final certificates were presented by Hans-Werner Ruhkopf, Head of Training, Detlef Marsch from IHK Braunschweig, and Jürgen Gehrke of the Fredenberg vocational school.

In this speech, Hans-Werner Ruhkopf described the successful completion of vocational education and training as also being a guide to self-reliance. All of them embody not only the versatility of dual vocational education and training but also represent a young and capable generation who are no strangers to a love of learning, ambition, motivation, perseverance and determination. Well-trained, skilled workers who constantly develop their skills further are essential for competing effectively in national and international markets. He explained that vocational education and training with MAN had put in place the necessary qualifications as the foundation for professional life. MAN Truck & Bus, and in particular the Salzgitter site, needs motivated and qualified young skilled workers in order to ensure a successful future.

Anja Lange-Kitroschat from the works council acknowledged that the accomplishments are deserving of all recognition. She explained that their full effect is often not felt until the future, adding that while the training period demands perseverance and commitment, the ability to put setbacks behind you is also important. She hoped that the successful young skilled workers would forever be ambassadors for their profession, as well as examples to colleagues and fellow workers in terms of their commitment and professionalism. All of the newly qualified skilled workers have laid an excellent foundation for their professional future in the form of their future-oriented and practical vocational education and training.
