Internationale Berufsbildungsprogramme in Vietnam

Das vietnamesische Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs kaufte im Jahr 2016 für mehr als neun Millionen US-Dollar Berufsbildungsprogramme aus dem Ausland. 14 Programme zur Berufsbildung kommen aus Deutschland.

International vocational training implemented

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs spent Dong (VND)212bn (US-Dollar (USD)9.4m) buying training programmes from foreign countries last year.

The Ministry of Finance gave approval to the plan to spend VND57bn (USD2.5m) to review eight training programmes from Malaysia and hire foreign experts to teach 220 students in pilot classes.

14 training programmes from Germany will be applied costing VND135bn and VND20bn will be used to implement 12 programmes from Australia.

The Ministry of Finance asked the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to send detailed reports about the goals and effectiveness of the programmes and prove that they suit Vietnam's situation and economy.

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs is also asked to publicise their plan and results of each stage of the process.

Since last September, the ministry has been given full authority over the vocational education sector, separating its management responsibility with the Ministry of Education and Training.

In addition, it must ensure that the vocational education in Vietnam is on par with regional countries.

Vocational education has been neglected in recent years, while graduate unemployment hasn't improved as there were too many graduates in subjects such as business administration and accounting while Vietnam is in need of skilled engineers and other sectors.

According to the General Department Of Vocational Training, most vocational training schools are lacking proper equipment and infrastructure.
